(Ujvári Gábor) - restaurator

Founded: 18.01.2005
After being acquainted to the TRS2004 it became soon clear, that this program is much more than a simple train-simulator. The Trainz Asset Creation Studio, delivered with the TRS, which is a plug-in optimised to TRS, opened up new horizons. (Funny, that both of us – independently - tasted firstly at around Xmas of 2004, during our winter-holidays, what a fun is to build 3d models).
After a short introducing phase we met us soon; and cooperate since January of 2005. The “godfather” (giving our name) is Vendel. It makes easy our connection, that we live very close to each-other, so, it is not a problem to organize our meetings.
During our short co-existence we prepared already more, than 1500 objects. Our basic issue is, that as the engine of the TRS (JET) has only limited abilities, we must fit to those. As a result we drew following consequences:
-
Our objects has to include the less possible count of polygons, staying most possibly real,
-
We use the best possible quality own phototextures, possibly the fewest for one object
-
Only quality products will be released
During the times spent together it came clear, that Vendel is a master of the lights/colours, Sura is good in preparing quality phototextures. It is difficult to identify who is the author at a majority of our objects, as we use without any limitations one another’s textures/meshes. Vendel did great in field of the railway structures (like rails, bridges, undercrossings), railway buildings and vegetation, Sura was extremely active on the field of railway-stations and other support buildings, and urban/rural environment.
We have plans to build layouts, and to prepare an own world of objects, as a satellite of the Planet Auran: called Painted Grace.
We have to say special thanks for the HO TTrainz Team, for hosting us: this is the website, from where you may download some of our selected objects. Another, bigger part of our objects will be probably payware, but our plans toward this direction are not definite yet. |
